What is it?

Our website and marketing materials feature many logos to advertise the variety and calibre of companies we work with, as well to showcase our most attractive products and designs.

As Flashbay continues to grow as the global Promotional Technology leader and our brand becomes ever more recognisable, it becomes increasingly attractive for customers to give us permission to use their logo on our website and/or our marketing materials. It is for this reason that we have decided to launch The Logo Club.

How does it work?

We are looking for Sales to secure the express permission of customers to utilise their logo on our website and marketing materials. For each successful email permitting logo use receive, the responsible salesperson will get a bonus amount as advised, provided the logo is accepted into the Logo Club. The guidelines for the process are as follows:

1. The email requesting permission to use the logo should slot into the sales cycle after a customer has confirmed they are 100% satisfied with their order. Ideally, this email should be sent alongside the Trustpilot review request.

2. Depending on the individual circumstances of the order, the email should have the following style:
"I am really glad to hear your [order was well received / event was a success / etc…]. We sometimes like to use examples of our best-looking work on our website or in our marketing materials. As your [product type] looked so good, we would like to have the option to use them to showcase our work – would this be ok with you?"

3. Once permission to use the logo has been granted, use the logo_club Slack channel to submit the candidate logo.
Your post should include:

  • The relevant Virtual Proof image
  • Customer company name
  • Customer website link
  • Brief description of what the customer does

4. Each submission will be voted up or down by our Logo Club Administrator who will also provide a short feedback on the quality of submission.

5. If the candidate is approved, forward the confirmation email from the customer to the following email for validation: logoclub@flashbay.com.

6. A key requisite to note is that no company whose logo is included in our sample pack or catalogue should be contacted.

7. A guide list of these companies can be found HERE but if you are in doubt about whether a particular logo features in the sample pack or catalogue then email logoclub@flashbay.com to check before seeking permission for logo use from the customer.

What is the criteria for a logo to be accepted into the Logo Club?

Once you have received permission for a logo to be used on our website and marketing materials, the logo and customer will be reviewed before a decision is made on its suitability for the Logo Club. There is inevitably an aspect of subjectivity to this process and our decision is always final. Some of the criteria is listed below in order to help Sales decide whether a logo is worth sending in for review to begin with:

  • The logo must look attractive on our products
  • The logo should be widely recognisable
  • The customer should not stipulate any terms and conditions on the logo’s use e.g. permission to use for a set period of time, requests for links to its usage etc.
  • The customer should not be an electronics or marketing company as we do not to want to present an image that we are working in conjunction with our customers.
  • The customer or logo should not express any alignment with a controversial or divisive issue e.g. political stances or religious beliefs.

Final Note

Please note that these terms and conditions are subject to change without prior notice.
Good luck and we look forward to building a portfolio of logos that we can use together!
