Individual Naming (IN) and Full Wrap Print (FWP)

Individual Naming (IN)

Individual Naming (IN) is possible for all products where Laser Engraving (ENL) is a branding method.

Branding area for IN is the same as the Laser Engraving (ENL) area of the product, except for Drinkware, where the IN branding area is smaller.

Screen Print (SPR) and Individual Engraving (IN) is allowed on the same side as long as they are in different areas (see example):

Please inform Graphics at the point of VP request about Individual Engraving.

Graphics team will process IN request with one of these fonts as standard: Century Gothic, Times New Roman and Arial, for Chinese 黑体, Adobe 黑体 Std R or Adobe 楷体 Std R. and for Japanese requests, MS Gothic & MS Mincho.

If you want the IN to be done with a different font type, Graphics will ask you to get approval from Operations for the specific font prior to creating the Virtual Proof for you.

This way Production team will know how to position the individual engraving and can confirm that the font used for IN is possible to engrave.

Excel list of individual names or numbers and Virtual Proofs with the longest and shortest name (total 2 VPs) shall be provided to Operations as a reference to ensure that the max branding area and best font size is used for all names of different lengths.

Note: if only 1 VP is provided to Operations, the whole order will be engraved with the same size.

When sending the Excel list of names for IN it is important to list them all in one column to avoid mistakes. Please note that the ops team will copy the column text exactly as it is written, spaces or letters will not be added or removed. Individual Naming (IN) - Excel list example

Shorter names will be engraved with bigger font size, longer names with smaller font size.

Double check lead time with Operations for orders where quantity is over 300 units. For Drinkware add +2 days lead time by default for any quantity.

If your customer wants to use special letters/characters, always check with Operations if it's possible to execute.

Examples of how to place an order with IN service:

Same Virtual Proof but not all units are with IN service
VP on the order should be the one with both logo and IN.
In the email to Operations provide 3 VPs: shortest and longest name IN as well as VP without IN.

(plus job notes that only 40 units are with IN)

2 different Virtual Proofs , VP1 with IN service and VP2 without it

Full Wrap Print (FWP)

Full Wrap Print (FWP) is possible for some Products (check specific product`s website or wiki Product Knowledge).

FWP should be specified in your VP request.

If both IN and FWP is a branding option for the product, both can be done. Note: IN can be done only on the part that doesn`t have FWP, e.g.for Crew (CW) FWP on body, IN on top/bottom silver ring.

Embossing Large Set up (ELS)

Embossing Large Set up (ELS) is possible for some Products (check specific product`s website or wiki Product Knowledge).

We can now emboss the logo on a larger area with a one-off fee.

ELS should be specified in your VP request.
