Special order lead times (SL, WB, EV, NS, PNS)	As some of our products include outsourced processes the custom colour order lead times are longer than standard lead time. USB models with LED (CS, HA, LT)	When HA and CS are plugged in the LED flickers while loading, than the light becomes steady. While transferring data from/to HA and CS the light flickers. Non- working samples for HA and CS have no LED. Non-working samples for LT are supplied with light. The LED of LT does not light up when plugged in and does not flicker while transferring data.The LED of LT can be only activated by squeezing the 2 brandable area.

Packaging of USBs

	Flashbay is gradually replacing polybag packaging with Plant-based bags. Plant-based bags are made of Polyactic Acid (PLA). PLA is a “bio-plastic” and is derived from corn starch, unlike plastic which is derived from non-renewable petroleum. These bags are biodegradable, meaning that they will decompose quicker than regular plastic. Producing PLA uses 65% less energy than producing conventional plastics and generates 68% fewer greenhouse gases. The bag is sealed on the back with double-sided adhesive.

New 'on-the-go' USB Flash Drives	New 'on-the-go' USB Flash Drives (the Orbit [pictured] and the Lynx) are double ended. Both feature the standard USB connector on one end and a choice of the Micro-B or Type-C connector on the other end The attached photo demonstrates the difference between the Micro-B (right) and the Type-C port (left). These options make the USB Flash Drive able to plug into compatible mobile devices such as phones, tablets and digital cameras, not just PCs and laptops
New USB Connector Design	The USB connector design has been refreshed. Compliance symbols will be placed on one edge of the connector and our details will be placed on the other. This level of information is already included on power bank and audio products so this change harmonises a wider range of products to the same standard. The new connector will feature on the following models: CS, PO, TX, KN, EX, GY, NX, IK, EV, PS, WB, NA, TW
EX packaging with MAB - UPDATE	Some customers complained about the EX packaging with MAB – it couldn’t fully close. The bottom foam has been removed in order for the EX stick to fit properly. Please see attached photos for changes made to MAB packaging method for EX
POD USB Flash Drive	PO dummy samples are supplied with PCBA green chip but at the factory this model can be produced with components of different structure - green PCBA or black MUDP ( internal parts not visible). Please clarify with your customer which type of model is preferable for them and for future orders please remember to specify in job notes which chip was used in the last production.
Trix USB Flash Drive	CMYK values are preferable for DPR, we cannot guarantee exact colours match when only pantone or artwork is provided by customer. DPR stickers for TX model are cut manually by factory's workers using stamping equipment that in result might cause +/-0.5mm tolerance of print edges. We would rather suggest avoiding any frames on TX model as shown on example.
Kinetic USB Flash Drive	For long lasting effect the screen-print on KN is sprayed with protection oil treatment that in result makes any colour less vibrant in comparison to the print on other models. If you have any doubts about print outcome on this model please contact UK Graphics for an advice.
Focus USB Flash Drive	Please make your customer aware that small details/ thin letters might be hardly visible on FC surface at certain angle and please suggest alternative models with a bigger printing area.
Executive USB Flash Drive	The uneven surface of leather will not allow us to print spotless, straight lines - the paint will bleed into tiny pores causing rough edges. It is advisable to avoid screen-printing of thin details on EX.
Executive USB Flash Drive	Front logo will be slightly crooked if placed very close to right edge. Once EX is placed in the presentation box, the end of logo may be hidden by foam. Please verify this print limitation with your customer prior to order confirmation.
Wafer USB Flash Drive	Please avoid text or logo with small details being cut by connector - the printing team will not be able to align/ match main body print to connector parameters precisely in millimeters.
Wafer USB Flash Drive	Customer shall be explained that the digital print at the factory is processed based on CMYK not pantone values . Would your customer provide the pantone reference or only artwork our machine will automatically transfer it to CMYK values, choosing the closest shade but not exact. Would it be CMYK values or pantone given by customer please specify colours preferences in job notes for production team to do their best match.
Wafer USB Flash Drive	Wafer (WA) virtual proof: Layout A is the default orientation - graphics will inform when elements of the supplied artwork cut into the USB connector. If Layout A is not appropriate, Layout C will be used – horizontal flip of the WA card remains on the short edge. In special circumstances, Layout B and D can be used – more suitable for vertical layouts. Wafer Virtual Proof Orientation - A, B, C, D layouts.
Nature USB Flash Drive	The shades of the engraved logo might differ throughout production due to a natural effect of maple wood itself.
Ellipse USB Flash Drive	EL surface is sensitive to friction with metal objects, ENL would be preferable branding for heavy usage environment.
Ellipse USB Flash Drive branding area	The print area of EL is relatively small, therefore recommended lines of text is 2 lines. Text in 3 lines will not be readable.
Ellipse USB packed in Blister	EL is packed in the Blister pack with branding area facing the carton sheet. This is the default packaging for EL to BL and can not be done differently (as only the plastic part of the packaging is flexible and can be shaped for the slide out button on the product).
KINETIC USB Flash Drive	KN orders are not being supplied with LED since October 2015. If a customer is reordering this model and the last order was before October 2015 advise that new order will be without LED.
Rotator USB Flash Drive	RT surface is sensitive to friction with metal objects, ENL would be preferable branding branding for heavy usage environment.

A lot of USB orders up to 10k units can be delivered within our standard lead times.
However it is important that you double-check lead times with Operations when any of the following conditions apply:

1. Order contains > 5,000 units
2. Order involves Screen printing of > 4 spot colours
3. Order includes Pantone-matched shells
4. Order includes more than 1 branding method e.g. SPR + ENL
