How to Deal with Shipments Outside your Sales Territories

- Flashbay Limited (UK) does not ship to USA, Canada, Mexico, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Asia
- Flashbay Inc (US) does not ship to UK, EU, Norway, Switzerland, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Asia
- Flashbay Pty Ltd (AU) does not ship to UK, EU, Norway, Switzerland, South Africa, USA, Canada, Mexico, Asia (except Hong Kong)
- Flashbay Electronics Hong Kong (HK) does not ship to Hong Kong, Japan, USA, Canada, Mexico, UK, EU, Norway, Switzerland, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand
- Flashbay Japan (JP) only ships to Japan
- Flashbay SA (ZA) only ships to South Africa
When a customer requests shipping to a country not served by the entity you work for, you should contact a Team Leader or Group Leader from the newly applicable entity for relevant advice and continue to develop the order in your time zone unless no longer appropriate. When you enter the sales order you then do so in the name of the overseas sales person who advised you.
Please heed the following guidelines once it is time to schedule the order:
- Sales orders with shipping address in UK, EU, Norway, Switzerland must always be entered in the name of a Flashbay Limited employee
- Sales orders with shipping address in USA, Canada or Mexico must always be entered in the name of a Flashbay Inc employee
- Sales orders with shipping address in Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong must always be entered in the name of a Flashbay Pty Ltd employee
- Sales orders with shipping address in Japan must always be entered in the name of a sales team JP employee
- Sales orders with shipping address in South Africa must always be entered in the name of a sales team CN employee
- Sales orders with shipping address in other parts of Asia must always be entered in the name of a sales team AU or CN employee
In such a case because the communication with the client was done fully by you and you won the deal the full profit and commission will go to you but the system will still initially share it. To request the share be removed this please use commission query as you would for a commission up/down grade and select unshare order, remember to write the reason for the unshare in the text box.
Exceptions to this will be if the communication with the customer was handed over to your colleague from a different entity and they took over the order, or if there’s already a NetSuite record for the same company in the other entity.
For Flashbay Limited (UK) orders where shipping is to a different Flashbay Limited (UK) market, you can place the order under your name directly.
You shall still contact the TL of the other market to understand the shipping and market specifics prior to placing the order.
e.g. 1
- a Danish customer who has ordered from us before and received delivery in the EU requires a new order with delivery to the USA. The Danish salesperson consults with a US salesperson to confirm order entry details specific to the USA. The Danish salesperson enters the order in the name of the US salesperson and thereafter requests for commission to be fully assigned to themself.
e.g. 2
- a Danish customer who has ordered from us before and received delivery in the EU requires a new order with delivery to Australia. The Danish salesperson consults with an AU salesperson to confirm order entry details specific to Australia. The customer subsequently requests for the order to be finalised by their colleague in Australia. Further communication is then passed to an AU salesperson. The AU salesperson enters the order in their name and commission is correctly split with the Danish salesperson.
Sales orders with shipping destinations not mentioned above can be entered by any salesperson as long as Operations have confirmed that we can ship to that country.
